This will take a few minutes of prep but it will be well worth it in the end.

 

Android users:

  • Open your settings ( the gear shaped icon at the top of your phone)
  • Select "Sounds and Notifications"
  • Select "Do Not Disturb"
  • Select "Allow Exceptions"
  • Select "Custom"
  • Select "Calls From"
  • Select the option that best suits your situation. The normal selection would be "Contacts Only"
  • Lastly, slide the slider to turn this function on, "Turn On Now"

*** Note - If they are not in your "Contacts List" they will be blocked. Take a few minutes to enter any recurring calls you might receive. (Pharmacy, Doctor, Home Security Services, Credit Monitoring Services, Utilities, etc...)

 

iPhone Users:

  • Open your settings (It is the gear shaped icon)
  • Select "Do Not Disturb"
  • Select "Allow Calls From"
  • Select the option that works best for you. The normal selection would be "All Contacts"
  • Lastly, slide the slider to turn this function on. "Manual"
